Alana Jacoby

Alana Jacoby is an experienced professional in the performing arts, currently serving as the Head of Lighting and Sound Design at Buck's Rock Performing and Creative Arts Camp since June 2017. In addition, Alana has been a Chess Instructor at Chess At Three since October 2017 and has worked as a Freelance Theatrical Electrician, Sound Technician, and Stagehand for Theaters Here and There since 2011. Alana's diverse background includes roles such as Lyricist and Bookwriter for When We're Gone, Lighting Design Counselor at Buck's Rock, and various positions in administrative and technical support at institutions like New York University, Brown University, and UC Hastings College of the Law. Alana holds an MFA in Musical Theater Writing from New York University and an AB in Literary Arts, specializing in Playwriting, from Brown University.
