Louise MacLeod

Louise Macleod is an experienced fundraising and community engagement professional with a strong background in charity work. Currently serving as CHSS Events, Community and Corporate Fundraiser at Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland since October 2022, Louise previously held the role of Senior Community Engagement Officer at SCIAF from September 2019 to September 2022. Prior experience includes serving as Head of Events and Community Fundraising at EMMS International, where the focus was on healthcare and education in India, Nepal, and Malawi. Louise also worked as Programme Manager at Link Community Development, managing fundraising events and initiatives to enhance educational access in sub-Saharan Africa. Earlier roles include positions at the Centre for Drugs Misuse Research, the Medical Research Council, and Service Civil International, where Louise developed skills in project management, administration, and fundraising. Louise holds a BA in International Business and Modern Languages from the University of Strathclyde.
