Carrie Freeman has had a long and varied career in the construction industry. Carrie began their career in 2000 as a Customer Service Representative at Sears Hardware. In 2007, they moved to Lowe's Companies, Inc. where they held two positions: Loss Prevention and Safety Manager and Customer Service Associate. In 2016, they joined the Indiana Department of Transportation as a Construction Safety Consultant. In 2017, they moved to Luke Family of Brands as a Construction Administrative Assistant. In 2019, they joined Thieneman Construction, Inc. as a Project Coordinator. Her current role is Construction Project Coordinator at Chester, Inc., which they began in 2021.
Carrie Freeman obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Business Administration and Management, General from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College between 2009 and 2012. Prior to this, they obtained an Associate of Science - AS in Equestrian/Equine Studies from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College between 2007 and 2009. Additionally, they obtained a CPR/First Aid Instructor certification from EMS Safety Services in January 2017, a CPR/First Aid certification from EMS Safety Services in December 2016, a Traffic Control Supervisor certification from the American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA), and a Traffic Control Technician certification from the American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA).
