Mark Haynes

Mark Haynes has extensive law enforcement experience, currently serving as Major and Community Services Division Commander at Chesterfield County Police Department since April 2021. Prior roles at the same department included Sergeant, Police Detective, and Patrol from November 2002 to January 2016. Mark began a law enforcement career at Seattle Police Department as a Police Officer from June 1998 to November 2002 and started in public safety at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as a Public Safety Officer from March 1994 to June 1998. Mark holds a Master's degree in Homeland Security from Naval Postgraduate School (2019-2020), a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership from Bluefield University (2005-2007), and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Telecommunications Management from Hudson Valley Community College (1989-1992).
