Kyle Holland

Kyle Holland, Ph.D., currently serves as Chief Product Officer at Chestnut Carbon since January 2023, leading the design and development of carbon removal projects that produce high-quality credits. As the Founder and Technical Advisor of ecoPartners Carbon since 2010, Kyle specializes in the design, development, and management of complex forest carbon projects, focusing on carbon measurement, monitoring, and accounting. From January 2020 to December 2022, Kyle was the Founder and CEO of Forest Carbon Works, which facilitates carbon market access for small landowners. Previous experience includes roles as an Auditor at Det Norske Veritas and SCS Global Services, validating forest carbon projects to established design standards. Additional roles include Resource Supervisor at Potlatch Corporation and various forestry positions in Maryland and Wisconsin. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. and a Master of Science from the University of California, Berkeley, along with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Minnesota.
