Shannon Smith currently serves as the Chief Commercial Officer at Chestnut Carbon, focusing on helping corporate clients achieve their Net Zero goals through high-quality, nature-based carbon offsets. Prior to this, Shannon held the position of Chief Growth Officer at Dandelion Energy, leading the commercial sales organization for a clean energy start-up. Previous roles include Senior Vice President of Marketing & Sales Enablement at OnDeck, where comprehensive marketing and sales operations were overseen, and Vice President of Marketing at J.Crew, managing multiple direct marketing channels. Additional experience encompasses leadership roles in marketing at Vinfolio, Sephora, and Williams-Sonoma, as well as strategic consulting at McKinsey & Company. Shannon's early career includes roles as a Direct Marketing Analyst at J. Crew and an Investment Banking Analyst at Morgan Stanley. Shannon holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a BBA in Business Honors with a focus on Finance from The University of Texas at Austin.
