Peter Saucedo

Peter Saucedo is an experienced firefighter currently serving at the City of Rockford since April 2022 and also working as Ski Patrol at Chestnut Mountain Resort since December 2023. Previously, Peter held various roles in emergency services, including Firefighter EMT at Elburn and Countryside Fire Protection District and Hinckley Fire Protection District, as well as EMT-B at Ridge Ambulance. Early in the career, Peter gained valuable experience through an internship at Batavia Fire Department while pursuing a Bachelor's in Fire Science from Western Illinois University. Peter's educational background also includes two Associate's degrees in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management and Scuba from Western Illinois University, complemented by a high school diploma from Marmion Abbey/Academy.
