Abeer Asad

Abeer Asad is a Cyber Risk Analyst at Chevron since August 2020, where responsibilities include roles in Cybersecurity Incident Response and Threat Monitoring. In addition to the current position, Abeer serves as Vice President for the WiCyS Houston Affiliate since September 2020, having also held the roles of Vice Chair and Treasurer for WiCS UH from August 2019 to August 2020. Previous experience includes IT Security Intern positions at Academy Sports + Outdoors and Tokio Marine HCC, as well as an Academic Tutor role at College Nannies, Sitters, and Tutors. Abeer holds a Master's degree in Cybersecurity and a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance, both earned from the University of Houston.
