Akshay Sahni

Akshay Sahni serves as the Country Head for Chevron India since September 2024. Prior to this role, Akshay was the General Manager of Strategy and Technology at Chevron Technology Ventures from October 2020 to September 2024, focusing on developing enterprise technology strategies centered on sustainability and low carbon technologies. Akshay's career at Chevron spans over two decades, including positions such as General Manager of Technology and Business Services in the Gulf of Mexico Business Unit and various engineering and management roles in countries including Bangladesh, Thailand, Kazakhstan, China, and Venezuela. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Energy Resources Engineering from Stanford University, an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, an MS in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and a BE in Mechanical Engineering from Punjab Engineering College.
