Chris Leinweber

Chris Leinweber is an Artificial Intelligence Advisor at Chevron, where responsibilities include advising senior management on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Science initiatives. With a Master's degree in Data Science from Rice University, specializing in Machine Learning, Chris has also served as a Lead Materials Engineer, providing expertise in materials and corrosion at the Pascagoula Refinery and implementing major reliability initiatives. Previous roles include Materials Engineering Intern at Chevron and Manufacturing Technology Co-op at DuPont, along with research experience in magnesium-ion batteries at GT Nanotech Laboratory and an internship at SpaceWorks Enterprises, Inc. where Chris developed programs for rocket staging simulations. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Material Science & Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
