Matthew Saul is an experienced Exploration Geophysicist with a strong background in geophysical studies and reservoir characterization. Currently part of the Great Australian Bight team at Chevron since July 2013, Matthew has previously worked as a Development Geophysicist focused on the Acme and Clio Gas fields in the Carnarvon Basin. Matthew's expertise includes quantitative seismic interpretation, AVA inversion, static modeling, and resource estimation. Before joining Chevron, Matthew worked as a Geophysicist at Ikon Science, involved in rock physics and 4D seismic feasibility. Matthew also holds a PhD in Geophysics from the University of Western Australia, specializing in 4D seismic and recognized with the Hesperian Press Award for outstanding postgraduate achievement. Earlier experience included geophysical survey responsibilities at EGS Survey P/L across multiple international locations. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science with honors in Geophysics from Curtin University.
