Mike Deal

Mike Deal is a seasoned financial trader with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently employed at Chevron since June 2008. In this role, responsibilities include managing speculative positions and hedging for the Gasoline trading team while utilizing various financial instruments to enhance profitability. Previous experience at Chevron includes serving as a commercial analyst, evaluating market indicators for renewable fuels and west coast gasoline, and optimizing supply chain processes as a business process analyst focused on profitability. Prior to Chevron, Mike worked at Fluor from February 2001 to August 2006 as a process engineer, overseeing refinery project deliverables and schedules. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Texas McCombs School of Business and The University of Texas at Austin.
