Tavia Nelson

Tavia Nelson has extensive experience in finance and leadership, particularly in the energy sector. At Chevron from November 2020 to June 2023, Tavia served as GM Finance for ERP Transformation, leading the organization through a global ERP platform transition. Tavia also held the position of Finance Integration Manager during the $3 billion acquisition of Renewable Energy Group, where responsibilities included integrating financials, processes, and personnel into Chevron Downstream. Additionally, as General Manager of Finance Talent Management, Tavia focused on employee development, empowerment, and inclusion within the global Finance workforce. Tavia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, obtained in June 2003.
