Tony Williams

Tony Williams is a seasoned Geologist with extensive experience in oil and gas exploration and development, currently serving at Chevron as a Geologist since October 2023. Prior to this role, Tony held positions at PDC Energy, Inc. as Senior Development Geologist and Technical Lead for the DJ Basin, and at SRC Energy Inc. as Staff Geologist, focusing on the Wattenberg field. Tony's career includes significant contributions at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, where responsibilities spanned various capacities from Senior Exploration Geologist to Development and Exploitation Geologist, managing diverse multi-disciplinary teams and leading projects in the Niobrara Chalk/Shale and Codell formations. With a Master's degree in Structural Geology and a Bachelor's degree in Geology from Utah State University, Tony has developed a strong foundation in geologic modeling, seismic interpretation, and horizontal drilling strategies, making noteworthy advancements in unconventional resource development throughout their career.
