Yvonne Gonzalez

Yvonne Gonzalez is a seasoned petroleum engineer with extensive experience in subsurface assurance, reservoir engineering, and project management. Currently serving as Principal Petroleum Engineer at Chevron since October 2025, Yvonne previously held key positions at Hess Corporation and Shell, including Sr. Manager Reservoir Engineering GoM and Senior Joint Venture Advisor. With a strong focus on optimizing production forecasts, improving workflows, and managing substantial budgets, Yvonne has successfully led diverse teams and has been instrumental in driving operational effectiveness across various projects in the Permian and other regions. Yvonne holds a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Universidad Central de Venezuela.
