Mia Caminita

Mia Caminita, M.S., currently serves as the Program Manager for the Sports Performance and Motion Analysis Lab at Children's National Hospital since November 2021. With a robust background in coaching, Mia has been a Figure Skating Coach at Chevy Chase Club since November 2017 and previously coached at Westchester Skating Academy for a decade. Academic experience includes a Graduate Research Assistant position at the University of Maryland's Neuromechanics Research Core and a fellowship at Stanford Children's Health. Mia holds a Bachelor of Science in Movement Science with Honors and a Master of Science in Industrial and Operations Engineering, both from the University of Michigan, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Kinesiology at the University of Maryland.
