Sara Proctor

Sara Proctor has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Sara started their career as a Photography Editor and Production Assistant at SpinSheet Publishing Company in 2010. Sara then worked as a Graphic Designer at the American Urological Association in 2011, where they designed web and print ads and assisted in the development of marketing materials.

In 2011, Sara transitioned to becoming a Graphic Designer at RTI Forensics, where they specialized in designing custom marketing materials and infographics for use in legal cases. Sara left the company in 2015.

Following that, Sara joined Jeanneau America as a Communications Specialist in 2016, where they designed marketing materials and collateral for both national and international publications. Sara also served as a Marketing Director at Aeromanagement Group that year, where they planned and implemented marketing campaigns and increased brand awareness for aircraft brokerage and management services.

In 2008, Sara started their own business called SAILFASTPHOTO, where they provided strategic marketing and design services to various clients in the yachting industry. Sara maintained relationships with media outlets and managed social media channels for their clients. Sara ran the business until 2018.

From 2011 to 2018, Sara also worked as a Brand Manager and Class Photographer at The Farr 40 Class Association. Their responsibilities included covering regatta events through photography and social media management.

Subsequently, Sara took on the role of Communications Director at the Chicago Yacht Club in 2018. There, they handled all marketing deliverables, print and digital communications, social media, and event photography for numerous events annually.

In 2022, Sara became a Marketing Project Manager at Voyage Advisory, a management consulting firm. Their responsibilities included keeping marketing and design projects on track and ensuring stakeholder communication.

Most recently, Sara joined Chevy Chase Trust in 2023 as an Assistant Vice President and Senior Designer. The privately-owned investment think tank provides personalized financial advice and planning services.

Sara Proctor obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Fine/Studio Arts, General from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Sara attended the college from 2001 to 2005.
