Melody Day

Melody Day is an experienced educator currently serving as a Campus Missionary in Training Intern with Chi Alpha Campus Ministries at the University of Virginia, where responsibilities include overseeing fellowship activities, planning events, and mentoring students. Prior to this role, Melody completed full and part-time student teaching internships at Broadus Wood Elementary School and Woodbrook Elementary School, respectively. Melody also served as a Lead Instructor at Fairfax Collegiate, LLC, teaching elementary math during summer sessions, and worked as a Teacher Assistant in a winter enrichment program focused on Rube Goldberg machines. Additional experience includes teaching dance to young children with Children Of The Light Dancers and assisting at the Johns Hopkins Center For Talented Youth. Melody holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Virginia, complemented by an Advanced Diploma from W.T. Woodson High School.
