Alesia Wallin

Chemistry Lead Technologist at CHI Health

Alesia Wallin started their work experience in 1993 as an Office Manager at Volunteer Treatment Center, where they worked until 2001. In 2005, they joined CHI Health as a Chemistry Lead Technologist and performed various responsibilities including supervising the Chemistry department, implementing quality control measures, maintaining inventory, troubleshooting instrument problems, and training new employees. Alesia also contributed to the implementation of a new laboratory database system. In 2014, Alesia joined Chattanooga Family Practice as a Medical Laboratory Technician and worked until 2018.

Alesia Wallin attended McKenzie Junior College of Business from 1982 to 1984, where they obtained an Associate Business Science degree with a focus on Computer Science and Secretarial Science. In 2003, they pursued an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree at Dalton State College in Medical Laboratory Technician. From 2007 to 2008, Alesia studied Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist at Weber State University, completing college coursework towards a bachelor's degree. Finally, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist from Austin Peay State University, where they studied from 2016 to 2018. Alesia also holds the certification of Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP-MLS) from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), which they obtained in September 2018.
