Erik Decker, MBA/MHA, CPXP has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Erik began their career in 2004 as the Director of Employment Services at Ollie Webb Center, Inc., where they worked until 2006. In 2007, Erik joined First State Bank and Trust Company as a Customer Service Representative. Erik then transitioned to CHI Health in 2008 and held various roles within the organization. Erik started as a Human Resources Specialist and later became a Benefits Administrator. In 2012, they became an Operations Analyst in Patient Experience and subsequently served as a Senior Talent Management Coordinator. In 2016, Erik was promoted to Division Manager, overseeing Service Excellence. In 2017, they took on the role of Division Director, focusing on Talent Development, Experience, and Wellbeing. Currently, Erik holds the position of Division Director, responsible for Patient Experience and Language Services, demonstrating their skills in effectively managing and improving healthcare experiences.

Erik Decker, MBA/MHA, CPXP, completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Criminal Justice/Sociology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha from 2000 to 2004. Erik then pursued their MBA, specializing in Human Resource Management, at Bellevue University from 2006 to 2009. Currently, Erik is enrolled at the University of Phoenix, working towards obtaining their Doctor of Healthcare Administration degree in the field of Health/Health Care Administration/Management, which is expected to be completed by 2025. Additionally, they received certification as a Certified Patient Experience Professional from the Patient Experience Institute in April 2022.
