Kyle Altendorf

Kyle Altendorf is an experienced Senior Software Engineer currently with Chia Project since September 2021, focusing on blockchain-based data services for the Climate Action Data Trust. With a strong background in open source projects since November 2015, Kyle has contributed to and maintained numerous tools and libraries. Previous roles include Senior Software Engineer at EPC Power, where Kyle developed applications for power converter systems, and Embedded Software Engineer at The Manitowoc Company, working on crane control systems. Earlier experience includes control software development at Korvis Automation and engineering internships at NMHG, along with a solid educational foundation in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Engineering from Oregon State University. Proficient in C++, C#, and Python, Kyle has a comprehensive skill set in software engineering and embedded systems.
