Leila Ionescu, CAPM, MSc, BSc, serves as the Partner Development Coordinator at Chic Geek, a Calgary-based organization dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive technology industry for women and girls. With previous experience as the Recruitment Director for PMI Northern Alberta Chapter, Leila played a crucial role in developing initiatives to support new members in obtaining PMI certifications. Past positions include Assistant Manager at Desigual, where Leila applied project management knowledge to enhance customer satisfaction, Project Coordinator at ENGIE, ensuring project alignment with budgets and schedules, and Project Assistant at InfoWorld, where foundational project management practices were established. Leila holds a Master’s degree in Business Management and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, alongside several project management certifications.
