Erika Edmonson

Erika Edmonson is an experienced professional with a diverse background in operations, education, and non-profit leadership. Currently serving as Board President and Board Member at the Chicago Area Runners Association (CARA) since January 2019, Erika has been actively involved in committee activities as well. Concurrently, Erika has worked as an Operations Specialist at LSV Asset Management since July 2018. Prior experience includes roles at Big River Race Management as an Accountant, where responsibilities included maintaining financial records and analyzing cost and revenues, and a 13-year tenure at GEM Realty Capital, primarily in business development and compliance. Erika began their career in education as a Secondary Education Mathematics Teacher with Chicago Public Schools, also coaching girls' sports and serving in various educational capacities. Erika holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Mathematics from Emory University and a Secondary Education Teaching Certification from National Louis University.
