Rachel Lockett

Coordinator, Visitor Events & Programs at Chicago Botanic Garden

Rachel Lockett has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Starting in 2015, they served as the Music Director for the Emerson Treble Makers until 2018. In 2016, they worked as the Managing Director at RareWorks Theatre Company until 2017. Rachel then joined the Chicago Botanic Garden in 2016, initially as a Membership Sales and Visitor Experience Associate and later became the Coordinator of Visitor Events & Programs in 2021. In 2017 and 2018, Rachel had an internship and then a fellowship in stage management at the Contemporary American Theater Festival. Additionally, they were an Office Assistant at Emerson Stage from 2016 to 2018 and an Assistant Stage Manager at Writers Theatre from 2019 to 2020. Overall, Rachel Lockett has gained experience in various positions within the arts and events industries.

Rachel Lockett attended Emerson College from 2014 to 2018, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Stage and Production Management. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Deerfield High School from 2010 to 2014.
