Sarah Harlow started their work experience in 2011 as a Visitor Services Use Assistant at the US Forest Service. In 2012, they joined the Chicago Botanic Garden, where they held various roles including Coordinator of Flower Shows, Coordinator of Visitor Events & Programs, Senior Coordinator of Visitor Events & Programs, and currently holds the position of Manager of Visitor Events and Programs.

Sarah Harlow earned a Bachelor's degree in Outdoor Education from Northland College from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended Harper College from 2007 to 2009, where they did not earn a degree or pursue any specific field of study.
