Stacy Stoldt

Director, Volunteer Administration & Engagement at Chicago Botanic Garden

Stacy Stoldt has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Stacy began their career as a Property Manager at Ann Anovitz Associates, Arthur Goldner, Colour My World, Inc. in 1986, where they worked until 2001. In 2007, Stacy joined Chicago Botanic Garden as a Reference Librarian and later took on the role of Manager, Library Public Services and Rare Book Specialist from 2012 to 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Director, Volunteer Administration & Engagement at the same organization. Additionally, they worked as a Librarian at CBHL/CBG from 2007 to 2011.

Stacy Stoldt has a diverse education history. In 1991-1992, Stacy attended the University of Oxford to study professional, technical, business, and scientific writing. From 1995-1996, they studied publishing, literature, and Graham School at the University of Chicago. In 2002, Stacy pursued an English degree at DePaul University as a Master's Candidate. Later, from 2005-2007, Stacy attended Dominican University to earn an MLS degree in Library and Information Technology. And most recently, in 2015, Stacy studied at the University of Virginia's Rare Book School, focusing on the field of study related to rare books.
