Tom Fry has a diverse work experience in various industries. Tom began their career in 2007 as a 2D animator, showcasing their video editing skills through hand-drawn animations and recreations of skateboarding videos. Their work gained recognition, leading to interviews with reputable skateboarding websites.

In 2020, Tom worked as a Content Creator for The Belmont Barbershop Ltd., where they directed and filmed promotional videos, using their skills in filming and editing on an iPhone SE. Tom also worked as a Lightscape + Seasonal - Security/Visitor Assistance at the Chicago Botanic Garden, providing security and visitor assistance during holiday light events and warmer seasons.

Tom has also worked as a Brand Representative for Pvblic Domain, a skateboard grip tape company, where they served as an athlete, marketing/content creator, and assisted in getting the company involved in industry events. Additionally, they worked as a Host at Dorian's Through The Record Shop and a Food Runner at Hogsalt.

With a passion for skateboarding, Tom served as a Brand Ambassador - Athlete for Brixton from 2018 to 2020, gaining knowledge about products within the industry and being involved in the culture/scene. Tom also honed their voice over skills as a Workshop Graduate at CreatiVoices Productions in 2019.

Lastly, Tom has experience in the hospitality industry, working as a Kitchen Expeditor & Food Runner at Ronero, a Latin American restaurant, and as a Sales Associate + Team Rider at Shred Shop, the largest independent skate/snowboard shop in the Midwest.

Tom Fry studied Computer Science at the University of Illinois Chicago from 2012 to 2013. Then, from 2013 to 2022, they attended Columbia College Chicago, focusing on Non-Fiction Writing.
