Daniel Ting has extensive work experience in the engineering and quality control field. Daniel started their career in 2011 as an Intern Engineer at EMS (Engineering & Management Solutions), where they gained initial exposure to the industry.
From there, Daniel joined CB&I in 2012 and held various roles within the company. Daniel worked as a Mechanical Field Engineer, QC Engineer, Mechanical and E&I Field Engineer, and Quality Engineer, demonstrating their expertise in different aspects of engineering and quality assurance.
Daniel's responsibilities at CB&I included welder qualifications, site QAQC activities, materials requisition, supplier qualifications and inspections, subcontractor management, and tank construction activities. Daniel also performed audits, documentation, welding inspections, and dimensional checks.
In 2017, Daniel took on the role of a QC Engineer and later became a QC & Project Engineer, overseeing tank construction activities and final handover to clients. Daniel continued to progress within the company, eventually serving as a Senior Field Engineer and Senior Quality Specialist.
Currently, Daniel holds the position of Principal Assurance Specialist at CB&I, where they utilize their expertise to ensure quality standards are met. Daniel'swork involves handling multiple projects, including the construction of caustic tanks, diesel tanks, and motor spirit tanks.

Daniel Ting earned a Bachelor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from The University of Adelaide between 2005 and 2010. In addition, they obtained certifications such as the Aboveground Storage Tanks Inspector Certification (API 653) from API - American Petroleum Institute in August 2021 and the NACE Coating Inspector Level 1 from AMPP Credentials in December 2020.
