Julia Matson

Senior Bilingual Therapist at Chicago Children's Advocacy Center

Julia Matson is a seasoned professional in the field of child therapy, currently serving as a Senior Bilingual Therapist at the Chicago Children's Advocacy Center since April 2013. In this role, Julia Matson provides individual and group therapy for children who have experienced sexual abuse, along with support for caregivers in fostering attachment relationships. Julia Matson also offers clinical supervision to master's level social work students. Previously, Julia Matson worked as a bilingual child therapist at the YWCA of Metropolitan Chicago from April 2010 to April 2013 and served as a volunteer at Casa Ursulina from August 2008 to June 2010. Julia Matson earned a degree from Loyola University Chicago between 2005 and 2008.
