Peggy Yih

Peggy Yih has a diverse range of work experience. Peggy is currently the Managing Director of the Center on Global Food and Agriculture at The Chicago Council on Global Affairs. Prior to this, Peggy worked at the National Academy of Sciences for several years, where they held various roles such as Senior Program Officer and Program Officer. In these positions, they directed blue-ribbon panels and provided scientific advice on a wide range of issues related to agriculture, food systems, and sustainable development. Peggy also gained experience in government organizations, including the U.S. House of Representatives, U.S. Department of State, and U.S. Department of Commerce, where they held internships and research positions.

Peggy Yih holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Science, Technology, and Public Policy from the Elliott School of International Affairs. Peggy also obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from UCLA, with a major in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics and a secondary major in Political Science.
