Dajuan King

Dajuan King, MSW, currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Kings Operation LLC since March 2023 and as the Program Director for Chicago HOPES for Kids since September 2022. In this role, Dajuan provides leadership to over 15 program employees, develops strategies and curricula for K-5 and middle school literacy programs, and is responsible for program evaluation and budget management. From August 2016 to September 2022, Dajuan held multiple leadership positions at Urban Initiatives, including Continuum Program Director, where oversight of program managers, strategic planning, community partnerships, and program evaluation were key responsibilities. Dajuan's educational background includes a Master of Social Work from the Jane Addams College of Social Work at UIC and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Wartburg College.
