Brooks Harris is an experienced educator and creative writing enthusiast with a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing from DePaul University. Currently serving as a Teen Associate at the Chicago Public Library since November 2023, Brooks has also held roles as a Lead Instructor at Camp Galileo-Lincoln Square and Camp Galileo, where instruction focused on fostering creativity in science and art for young learners. As a Teaching Artist with 826CHI, effective lesson plans were crafted for creative writing workshops aimed at children aged 7 to 15, covering topics such as poetry and literary analysis.
