Migdalia Jimenez

Migdalia Jimenez is a seasoned librarian with extensive experience in public services, currently serving as a Public Services Librarian at Chicago Public Library since September 2017, where Migdalia demonstrates leadership by co-chairing the Latinx Services Committee and contributing to the Library Journal. Migdalia previously held the position of Reference & Programming Librarian at La Grange Public Library, managing adult fiction and non-fiction collections and providing reference assistance. Additional experience includes a supervisory role in e-commerce customer support at cleverbridge, as well as legal and educational positions, showcasing strong skills in community engagement, programming, and library services. Migdalia holds an M.S. in Library and Information Sciences from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and dual bachelor's degrees in Latin American & Latino Studies from DePaul University.
