Nesha Saunders

Chief, District 6, Southeast at Chicago Public Library

Nesha Saunders is currently the Chief of District 6, Southeast at the Chicago Public Library. Nesha has previously worked as a Youth Services Organizer at People's Choice, where they organized a Youth/Adult Mentoring Program and taught courses about self-esteem, teen pregnancy prevention, and employment resources.

Nesha Saunders holds a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from Dominican University as well as a Master's Degree in Women and Gender Studies from Roosevelt University. Nesha Saunders also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences - Museum Studies/Sociology/Women Studies from California State University-San Bernardino.

Nesha Saunders reports to Chris Brown, Commissioner. They are on a team with Patrick Molloy - Director, Government & Public Affairs, Teri Campbell - Deputy Commissioner, Administration & Finance, and Deanie Adams - Director, Sulzer Regional.
