David Armstrong

David Armstrong is an experienced educator and professional with a diverse background in teaching, property management, and writing. Currently serving as a Teacher Resident at Chicago Public Schools since August 2023, David has previously held roles such as Recruitment Coordinator at Hagerty Consulting and 3rd Property Manager for a family-owned real estate business, where responsibilities included maintaining properties and managing tenant relations. Prior experiences also include working as a Research Assistant/Copy Editor for Electronic Book Review, a Dietary Aide for Friedman Place, and contributing as a Technical Writer/Social Media Consultant for the Fair Deal Committee, among others. David holds a Master's degree in Education from DePaul University and a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Illinois Chicago.
