Kamilah Hampton, Ed.D, currently serves as a School Principal at Chicago Public Schools since August 2018, having previously held the role of Assistant Principal within the same district. Kamilah is also the founder of KDT Sports LLC, which addresses the need for high-quality athletic training for black and brown athletes, and serves as a Sports and Education Enthusiast. Additionally, Kamilah operates as a School Leader Consultant for Dr. K Mentors Me and was a Resident Principal with New Leaders from 2017 to 2018. Prior roles include Director of Academic Services at HEROH Foundation, Learning Behavior Specialist and Special Education Paraprofessional in Chicago Public Schools, and Executive Director at Community EXCEL Foundation. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from National Louis University, a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Concordia University Chicago, a Master of Arts in Special Education from Quincy University, and a Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Illinois State University.
