Sarah Murphy has been a dedicated educator at Chicago Public Schools since August 2015, primarily serving as a 6th Grade Math/Science Teacher at Edgebrook Elementary School and previously as a 3rd Grade Teacher and 6th Grade Math and Science Teacher at Hibbard Elementary School. In addition, Sarah has been recognized as a Golden Apple Scholar through Golden Apple of Illinois since May 2011. Prior to teaching, Sarah gained retail experience with positions at DICK'S Sporting Goods, Bergner's, and The Gap between 2012 and 2015. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Elementary Education and a Minor in Psychology from Illinois State University, completed in 2015, and graduated from Danville High School in 2011.
