Sydney Morris has over two decades of experience in the education sector, currently serving as Chief of Staff to the Chief Education Officer at Chicago Public Schools since September 2000. Previously, Sydney held the positions of Interim Principal at John B. Drake Elementary School and Resident Principal at Robert Healy Elementary School. Sydney's educational credentials include a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Administration and Supervision from Loyola University Chicago, a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Secondary Education and Teaching from DePaul University, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English with a minor in Sociology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
