Erik Toledo is a System Engineering student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, expected to graduate in May 2027. Current roles include Fellow at Braven, where workforce skills and a career roadmap were developed, and Product Validation Engineer Intern at Cummins Inc., contributing to the validation of engine components and spearheading a project for sensor prototype manufacturing. Additionally, Erik is recognized as a Hispanic Scholarship Fund Scholar and an ARISE Scholar, supporting academically talented students from low-income backgrounds. Previous experience includes mentorship roles with Chicago Scholars and Galileo Learning, event coordination with the Archdiocese of Chicago, and creative contributions as a producer for a mixed-media zine at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago.
