Jessica Avila-Cuevas

Jessica Avila-Cuevas, M.Ed., is an experienced higher education professional and the Founder and CEO of Viva la Mami, LLC, a digital platform dedicated to supporting millennial Latinas in motherhood. Currently serving as a Part-Time College Counselor at Chicago Scholars since September 2022, Jessica assists scholars and families through the college process and implements the organization's curriculum. Past roles include College Counselor at Cristo Rey Jesuit High School, Coordinator of Enrollment Communications at College of DuPage, and Regional Recruiter at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, amongst others. Jessica holds a Master of Education degree from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Monmouth College.
