Katlynn Sopczynski

Special Education Teacher at Danville Community School Corporation

Katlynn Sopczynski's work experience starts in 2019 as a Therapy Intern at Oaklawn Psychiatric Center, where they observed therapy sessions and participated in documenting sessions. Katlynn also received training and certification in the CANS assessment. In the same year, they worked as an ABA Therapist at Lighthouse Autism Center. In 2019 and 2020, they were an Assistant Varsity Softball Coach at New Prairie High School. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as a Paraprofessional at Life Strategies LLC. In 2021, they were a Special Education Teacher at South Bend Community School Corporation and later at Danville Community School Corporation. Katlynn also served as the Head Softball Coach at Dickinson Fine Arts Academy. In the same year, they became the Head Volleyball Coach at Danville Community School Corporation.

Katlynn Sopczynski pursued their education in a sequential manner. Katlynn completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Public Health from Indiana University Bloomington, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. Afterward, they decided to further their studies by pursuing a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Secondary Education and Special Education at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis. Katlynn is expected to complete their master's program between 2021 and 2023. Prior to their college education, they attended Saint Joseph High School in South Bend, Indiana, though no specific years or degrees were indicated.
