Valery Pineda

Valery Pineda currently serves as an Associate of College Access with a focus on Mentorship and Coaching at Chicago Scholars since November 2020, and previously held the position of Mentorship Intern. Prior to this role, Valery gained customer service experience as a Cashier at Walmart from September to November 2020. Valery holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a concentration in Creative Writing, along with a Minor in Latin American and Latino Studies, obtained from DePaul University between September 2019 and June 2023. Valery's educational journey began with a High School Diploma from Acero - Major Hector P. Garcia M.D. High School, completed in June 2019.
