J. Michael Weiss-Holmes is a Professor of Saxophone at Florida Gulf Coast University, where J. Michael teaches undergraduate students in various settings. J. Michael is also an Artist-Teacher of Saxophone and Head of Woodwinds at Roosevelt University, where J. Michael teaches undergraduate and graduate saxophone majors. In addition, J. Michael serves as the Principal Saxophonist with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and has held marketing positions with the North American Saxophone Alliance and Conn-Selmer, Inc. J. Michael has also taught at various universities and holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Saxophone Performance and Literature.
