Akhil Surannanavar

Akhil Surannanavar is an experienced quantitative researcher and trader, currently working at Chicago Trading Company since February 2022. Previously at DV Trading LLC, Akhil served as both a quantitative trader and a junior quantitative trader from February 2019 to November 2021. Akhil's earlier experience includes a risk analyst internship at Huntington National Bank, where responsibilities involved data automation and risk trend analysis, as well as a practicum student role at RCM Alternatives focusing on trading strategy development. Akhil began a career in finance at Canara Bank as an assistant manager, implementing risk assessment models and enhancing productivity through automation. Akhil holds a Master of Science in Financial Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications Engineering from P E S Institute of Technology.
