Charles Freeman

Charles Freeman has extensive experience in project management within the construction sector, particularly with the Chicago Transit Authority since February 2012. As the General Manager for the Red Line Extension - Design & Construction, Charles Freeman has successfully implemented strategies for risk management, conflict resolution, and project completion within budget and schedule constraints. Prior roles include Senior Project Manager in Capital Construction, where process-based project management tools were developed, and Project Manager, overseeing construction projects from inception to closeout. Charles Freeman's earlier experience as an Assistant Project Manager at UJAMAA Construction complements a strong educational foundation with a Master's degree in Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Composition and Orchestration from Columbia College Chicago.
