Denise Wilmer Barreto

Denise Wilmer Barreto is currently the Chief Equity and Engagement Officer at Chicago Transit Authority. Denise is also the Co-Founder of Serqet Productions and Media, and the Author, Managing Partner, Trainer, and TEDx Speaker at Relationships Matter Now, LLC. Denise has extensive experience in government relations, legislative affairs, community engagement, workforce development, and equity and inclusion initiatives. Denise has previously worked at Cook County Government, Village of Lake in the Hills, Accenture, Sears Holdings Corporation, Pella Corporation, and United Airlines. Denise holds a BA in Communications from Judson University.
