Lok Kwan

Lok Kwan is an experienced transportation professional currently serving as the AVAS System Administrator III at the Chicago Transit Authority since January 2013. In this role, Lok Kwan oversees the distribution of schedule updates and manages Automatic Vehicle Location upgrades, contributing to public-facing datasets. Previous positions include Rail Scheduling Analyst and Bus Scheduling Analyst, where responsibilities included developing operational schedules and improving service reliability through data-driven tools. Prior to working at the Chicago Transit Authority, Lok Kwan held internships and positions at various organizations, including Pace Suburban Bus and the Chicago Department of Transportation. Lok Kwan holds a Master’s degree in Urban Planning and Policy with a focus on Transportation and a Bachelor’s degree in Urban and Public Affairs, both from the University of Illinois Chicago.
