Lionel Kimble Jr.

Lionel Kimble Jr. has experience working as the VP AND Executive Director of Research and Policy at the Chicago Urban League since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate Professor at Chicago State University starting from July 2005. Their early career included a role as a Counselor at the YMCA from 1992 to 1993.

Lionel Kimble Jr. pursued their education at the University of Iowa, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History from 1991 to 1996. Lionel then continued their studies at the same university and completed a Ph.D. in History from 1991 to 2004.
