GAL For Minors Volunteer at Chicago Volunteer Legal Services

Grace B. is currently serving as a GAL for Minors Intern at Chicago Volunteer Legal Services, beginning June 2024. Previously, Grace worked as a Student Attorney at the University of Michigan Law School's Child Welfare Appellate Clinic, where a 42-page brief was drafted and submitted to appeal the termination of an incarcerated client’s parental rights. Grace also held editorial responsibilities as a Junior Editor for the Michigan Technology Law Review and gained leadership experience as the Director of Programming for the Hutton Honors Council Association. Additional roles included various positions at Indiana University Bloomington, such as Undergraduate Research Assistant in both the Lau Lab and Hollenhorst Lab, Office of Undergraduate Research Intern, and a Student Hourly position at Wells Quadrangle Center Desk. Early experience includes an internship at Riverview Health and seasonal work for the City of Noblesville. Grace earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Indiana University Bloomington.
