Jody Sarchett

Jody Sarchett is a board member at Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. and a former internal auditor at Brown & Brown. Jody began their career at Brown & Brown in June 2000 and traveled with the Internal Audit Team to Profit Centers across the U.S. to perform audits. In September 2002, they were promoted to Internal Auditor and was responsible for conducting interviews, gathering and analyzing information, and communicating results and recommendations. Brown & Brown is a publicly traded firm that generated more than $1.8 billion in revenue in 2017. It is one of the top 10 insurance brokers in the U.S. according to Business Insurance.

Jody Sarchett has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Finance from Tarleton State University, which is a member of the Texas A&M University system. Jody is also certified from The Institutes as an Accredited Advisor in Insurance, and from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans as a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist. In addition, Jody has two certifications from The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research - as a Certified Insurance Counselor and as a Certified Risk Manager.
